Darrell Brooks was found guilty of six counts of first-degree intentional homicide on Wednesday for driving his SUV into a crowd of Christmas parade attendees in Waukesha, Wisconsin, last November, killing six people and wounding dozens more.

He takes over his own defence (presumably he is convinced without any supporting evidence that he will be good at it) and then spends as much or more time in attacking the system rather than constructing and presenting his defence. And he does so aggressively and rudely. How very very Trumpian. If Trump ever does go to court I hope and expect he will behave in the same self-destructive way.

I tried to watch some of the court footage and listening to his sovereign citizen ramblings was just enraging. The constant interruption, the “i don’t understand”, why can’t i enter this into the record. The judge never fell for any of his bs and really did her best to ensure he doesn’t have anything to leverage an appeal down the road.
