If you can’t watch a TV show or movie because the lead character doesn’t look like you, well that’s a you problem. Minorities have been doing it for many decades.

I love it because it can be a window into a culture I’m not familiar with. Ms. Marvel was freaking amazing like that. I felt the show overall was mostly just okay but the look into a culture I hadn’t had much experience with before was cool as hell.
