Meh, use coal to power your EV
Your car is 15-20% thermally efficient…. a coal plant *starts* at 42*. If it’s a combined cycle, it’s 60 to 80% efficient. 6% line losses (worst case), and conversion losses, 86% of the electricity makes it to the tires……. So, two to three times as efficient? Fuck yeah.
