    It’s not the end of debates. They should still continue, if the gqp candidate doesn’t show up, then it’s on them.

    the only reason that we only have two parties that the two of them take all the air out of the room when they’re in it. If the GOP wants to not take part, they don’t have to, time to let the other smaller parties have some time in the sun.

    I saw a suggestion somewhere that the Dems should still stage the debates but hold them with the Libertarians. The publicity would serve to siphon away votes – hopefully crucial ones – from the Republicans.

    I realize that the republicans don’t do this either, but I wouldn’t expect the Libertarians to be able to debate in good faith. Their stance on nearly everything is just a split hair away from anarchy.
