    This doesn’t mean what they think it means: “With gun violence on the rise in Wisconsin and across the nation, Republicans believe more residents should be able to carry a gun legally to protect themselves.” Increasing the number of guns will not reduce gun violence.

    Also, how is this acceptable? “When applying for a concealed carry permit, state law doesn’t require someone to actually fire a weapon.” If you’ve never fired it, you should not be walking around with it all, most, or even some of the time.

    even in states that require you fire a weapon (florida) it often is a .22 short revolver shot into a bullet catcher , not the actual gun you own and carry. it’s up to owners to receive weapons training
