A new lawsuit implored a federal judge to block a Florida law that penalizes social media companies for “censoring” political candidates, calling the measure a “frontal assault on the First Amendment.”

    The First Amendment only limits the government’s regulation of speech. Private companies are not required to provide a platform to people who would use it to make the company look bad.
