US Capitol Police investigate after report Rep Andy Harris brought gun to House chamber checkpoint

The U.S. Capitol Police department is looking into the matter, spokeswoman Eva Malecki told The Baltimore Sun. She declined to answer questions, saying “we can’t comment on an ongoing investigation.”

Rep. Andy Harris is a criminal and should be arrested, charged, then taken in front of a court of law and explain why he broke the law and what his punishment should be.
