Do you need to be concerned with the water rotting that wood eventually? I know that treated lumber would hold up longer, but would it hold up long enough to make this not a bad idea considering it’s completely submerged?
they’re usually made from trees that are indigenous to the area, so they’re water rot resistant, and usually built in a way that make them easy to replace.
