So I haven’t seen the latest joker movie because it looked like it was pandering and I could tell that his mom was going to die in the film, and as someone that still has an emotional reaction to my own mom dying, I didn’t want to pick at that scab, but I digress….

there’s a part in the film where he dances on some stairs. the IRL stairs are in the middle of a low income neighborhood that’s pretty rough around the edges, but now a whole bunch of tourists are coming in to have their pictures taken on the stairs. Some of the locals throw fruit at them when they do this.
