Hers was trusting, wanting company, foolish, and naive. His? Entitled, predatory, objectifying of women. He left her passed out and exposed on the street, I mean, really? So yeah, I see her as being brave and raising awareness that the culture needs to shift a lot*. We all have a part to play in it. Too big a scope to go into how to avoid being sexually assaulted, and what’s reasonable behaviour knowing that it’s incredibly common, happens despite the best precautions, sometimes stone cold sober, shouldn’t happen ever, that sometimes people do dumb risky shit with alcohol and drugs, and that it is not exclusive to females as victims.
