They look cool, but I hope people only use them as running lights and not their primary means of illumination
A huge portion of people mistake their daytime running lights for automatic headlights. My halo lights (aftermarket, not driving a beamer here) are CCFLs and so take a minute to come up to full brightness. I’ve only missed turning my headlights a couple times. The Halos are enough to light up the retroreflective signs and markers but once you’re on a road without street lighting it’s pretty obvious. Then again, I’m sharper than most sticks.
