This is what actual civil disobedience is: protest by disobeying the law, and accepting the consequences.
It’s better than that. These folks are lining up to accept the consequences, and they weren’t even there. It isn’t quite clear how they’ll manage to prosecute the actual perpetrators given that so many others will have confessed. It’ll be a better day for the defense attorneys than for the state.
