Real-time strategy makes an explosive return to the Halo universe in Halo Wars 2. Lead Spartans, Warthogs and other classic Halo fighting forces in a brutal war against a terrifying new enemy on the biggest Halo battlefield ever.

I bounced off of this several times, the first act is pretty weak with limited story progress and frustrating game play. I apparently stopped playing the last time right before the second cut scene which really gave the game a turn for the better and improved the game play with new units and game mechanics. I really enjoyed the second half of the game and feel that the story in that part of the game is actually better than what was in Halo 5.
