I knew yesterday was Easter, but I could not have cared less. I still slightly hung over, but man do I not care about Easter as a holiday.

Have you ever just decided to not even bother with holidays?

I haven’t celebrated any holidays since about 1985.

We just swing by the folks place for a drink. Easter in prague was bomb a few years back, street vendors everywhere with meat and booze.

I don’t observe x-mas (or any other holiday in December), Valentine’s day, not even 4th of July really. Everything about many holidays has been corrupted/perverted from it’s original intent. And ALL holidays have been obscenely commercialized, so……I just don’t bother.

I’m finally on the same page as my friends when it comes to US holidays: no presents, experiences only, and home made experiences are better (dinner at someone’s home vs dinner at the golden corral). I’ve had some very good times when we do it that way.
