The Purge: Election Year review

91W8Tuo4dPL. SL1500 797x1024 The Purge: Election Year

Leo (Frank Grillo) is back as Senator Charlie Roan’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) security during her presidential run. On Purge Night, they must survive the 12 hours of lawlessness.

The first direct sequel of the series, and I’m wishing that it was back to being just unique stories in the same universe. Maybe have 10 or 15 Purge movies, we could see the stories all coming together to stop the Purge, but they went for it for the third film. It was entertaining, but I really feel they could have done more side stories.  There was more posturing than purging in this film, which was unfortunate.
