uninteresting and mediocre. the bond franchise still hasn’t been able to find its feet since they decided to do away with the sly jokes and clever gadgets, and this latest offering seems to be just more of the same bland reheating of the same Jason Bourne story structure and plot
They’re not even *that* good. I actually quite enjoyed Casino Royale with it’s Bourne leanings and found it to be a refreshing change to the bloated stupidity of Die Another Day. Quantum of Solace however was completely awful and tried to save itself with that awful plot about stealing water or something. Skyfall was just a nicely lit version of Home Alone. As far as I’m concerned SPECTRE can’t be any worse than them.
Having said that I don’t like the styling on the new Aston. Just looks bland.
