    “Much as I think he’s a nob, I quite like working with Jeremy.” Also it sounds like he’s saying “They’ve shot him.” at the beginning of this clip, (in fact he probably IS saying that) which conjures up irresistible images of a LITERAL BBC firing squad. Personally I can’t stand the man, and I don’t think assaulting a work colleague is a “small matter.” Anyway, Clarkson will undoubtedly get other offers and continue “having controversial opinions for money” as Stewart Lee puts it.

    I would have like to seen Clarkson come back, but you’re right, you can’t hit someone you work with and expect to just get a slap on the wrist, but he won’t be out of work for long.
