As for the sexy, female robot trope, who knows what the film will do with it? None of us have seen it yet so we don’t know if it’s similar to The Machine or not. I have a suspicion The Machine may be the superior film because having a low budget can work out in a film makers favour, forcing them to think more creatively and originally. They can’t fall back on big budget effects to distract the audience from deficits in the script.
