Well, first off, lets not get any hopes up. Why?

    1. James Gunn is directing. So expect plenty of cheese. Not a lot or any good realism expected at all. The guy seems to spend more time styling his hair then focusing on his films.
    2. Chris Pratt is in it… enough said.
    3. They had to bring in director Joss Whedon to fix multiple scenes.
    4. Back to number one on the realism. The end credit scene with Del Toro couldn’t of looked any more fake then possible.
    5. Not trying to just rip on James Gunn, but if you go by his track record he mimicks prior films, and abuses it. So again, from leaked trailer trailers/photo’s, he’s already looking to abuse the humor of The Avengers movie and cheese it up again.
    6.?????
    7. No matter what, it’s gonna profit. Just may need to do a pregame drunk first.

Movie 43 – total bomb of a movie.
Lollipop Chainsaw – good, but only because of T&A
    Super – ehhhhh…not terrible
    Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed – terrible
    Scooby-Doo – terrible
Dawn of the Dead (screenplay) – Hey, I liked this one!

so look, he did one good movie 10 years ago, sooooo….

Not saying that you’re wrong about what you said, but I don’t think this movie needs to go for realism.

    I’m sorry..realism?

Sorry, kind of.. Take that back… I AM babbling a bit today. But per Wiki “Realism in the arts may be generally defined as the attempt to represent subject matter truthfully, without artificiality and avoiding artistic conventions, implausible, exotic and supernatural elements.” So to me,, not rely on CGI so much (like the Star Wars prequels) that it pulls you out of the film because it looks fake. Granted, you may have no choice for certain parts. But I’d rather see small and let our imagination take us away. But that’s just my babbling opinion.

Coon didn’t get the role ? That’s probably why he vanished – drowning his sorrows, and shit.
