Hey, I’ve got this one too.
And the ’76 King Kong one by Berkey as well….
Multiple YT-1300s there. This must’ve been from before they’d made that design into a singular ship in the movie.
I think the answer is simpler than that.
Berkey was shown some early production stills of the film, but did not know any of the plot details.
He assumed all the smaller ships he saw (including the Falcon) were multiple ships in squadrons…..a simple mistake.
