    I remember this stuff. It’s called NeverWet. Hasn’t hit the market yet. I’ve been waiting on this stuff for over a year. Only product I know that uses this stuff is a toilet plunger.

    I wonder how long it takes before the nano coat (because that’s what it is, right?) wears off. Shouldn’t take too long.

    That probably depends on what it is coating.

    They put a panel in a tub from the Atlantic ocean for a year, it never got wet. 1 year is pretty impressive to start.

    Apparently it can prevent icing, corrosion, and used as an anti-bacterial.

    Even if it’s only 1 year of use, that’s still impressive.

    That’s pretty damn cool. I wonder if the scuffing shoes inevitably take makes a difference, though. Ocean water (I imagine) is more passive wear on the coating.
