Uh, no. The Earth would continue right into Jupiter, with every living thing having been fried by its radiation, IF they weren’t already killed when the Earth was torn apart by its gravity…. LONG before we were this close. IJS

I don’t think that was the point, I think they were just showing relative scale of it against our moon. At least that’s what *I* took away from it.
