    First time in a while were I fully agreed with Stewart.

    Stewart beat the hell out of that tax payer strawman. No one claimed that tax money would be used to pay for anything. This is about the Government forcing religious organizations to pay for contraceptives and abortions which they disagree with on moral and religious grounds. You can disagree with their beliefs but you can’t disagree with their right to those beliefs. Freedom of religion is enumerated in the Constitution while the “right” to force someone else to pay for a service or product is so obviously unconstitutional that the fact that it is even up for debate is just sad.

    Actually, what the woman was testifying about was the use of contraceptive pills to treat ovarian cysts – which is hardly unconstitutional. In fact, most people would consider treatment of ovarian cysts to be a logical service to be provided by a health insurance company, even one being retained by a religious organization.

    It’s the whole “paying for sex” issue that’s the strawman here, and Limbaugh was the one who pulled that one out.

    This “not in the constitution” argument is BS. The Constitution was written in 1787, it doesn’t mention cars, television, radio or the internet. It also doesn’t address Medical Insurance BECAUSE IT HADN’T EVEN BEEN DREAMED OF YET. The founding fathers may have been great guys, but they couldn’t see the future. Some things we will have to solve for ourselves.
