You might be right, but maybe they couldn’t find pictures of those guys making the same face after the scandal. The NYTimes isn’t Pro Republican by a long shot.
If they really wanted to smear Dems they could have posted a pic of John Edwards, way more recent (with the indictment) and high profile compared to a Senator from Nevada I’ve never heard of.
Edwards is facing criminal charges, the others never did (I don’t think Clinton was ever in danger of going to prison, even with impeachment).
