    I never understood how it could survive flying through a star, but took damage from laser fire.

    shield modulations, which is a concept that goes WAY back in science fiction. in SG:U though, it’s how they were able to survive against the drones in that one episode that they did that one thing in.

    Bring it back!!!
    Of course the way it ended, SyFy has three years to figure out if they want to pick it back up, or make another SG Show to tie into it.
