TIKI WHY ARE YOU ALLOWING SUCH HORRIBLE SATANIC IMAGERY ON THIS SITE?

I DEMAND THAT YOU PUT A FILTER ON SO MY KIDS DON’T SEE THESE WICKED EVIL THINGS

I’M GOING TO GO TO THE SUPREME COURT IF YOU DO NOT MEET MY DEMANDS.

“Oh, man, I love the inlay on this. And is that bronze? A lot of liches are going for gold right now, but bronze is just so much more subtle, you know? More refined.

And you got those little dangling soul-gems that match my eyes! Well, I mean, they match my eyes because my arcane essence has been siphoned and distributed within them, allowing me to course with necromantic power far beyond what a mortal form could ever contain, but still! So thoughtful.”

i do not see how this picture has anything to do with phylacteries, but that may just be because i am using the traditional definition of phylactery, i.e. teffelin.

The term has meant “charm” since before Jews started wrapping Christmas presents to their foreheads.

Because in D&D and other RPGs, a phylactery is an object that a Lich hides his soul in to become immortal. Even if his body is destroyed, he’ll just regenerate near the phylactery.
