The fact that he lost the “knife fight” is a catalyst but, not the reason that this happened. The guy was clearly off his rocker before all this happened. Because, no on in their right mind would plot to kill someone just for beating them in a game.

Do you even need Steam to play Counter-Strike? I remember playing CS back in 2001, way before Steam ever hit the scene.

Just because the game is available on Steam doesn’t mean these guys were using it in Steam. Counterstrike was around long before Steam. Is Steam even available outside the US?
