Got a source on this “news”?

    DMYTRIW WDS

NPR was talking about it last week. Since all the journalist were being corralled to only follow the PR guys, one of them decided to jump on a kayak and go further down to where the mess was. She found they were using paper towels.

While those are paper towels, they are the kind that comes in spill kits that are designed to absorb petroleum products.

    Error401

Know who makes ’em? I’m gonna dump a ton of bank in that company’s stock.

    oldnoob

What other/better suggestions do you have?

There is a local alpaca farm here that is shearing their leg fur and sending it to the gulf. I got the impression that some mayors from small towns are planning to bypass BP and the Coast Guard and use it anyway. They’re desperate.

    Demon

Do you have an address where I can send some?
I`m going to start shearing my leg fur right NOW.

    nyoki

I hate my fucking local news. It was on the news last night and now I can’t find any reference to it.

those are oil absorbent pads and they actually work really well for removing oil from water. Although in the pic it appears ridiculous, it’s not a bad idea to use them…
