    On the sign:

‘Upgrade your PC to the latest model every 3 years for only $99.’

    Stipulate latest to be EVGA SR2 + Dual Xeon + Watercooling + Quad GTX480 + 8 Raided SF1222 SSDs. $99? Yes plz.

I really don’t think the Celeron was ever the ‘latest model’. At this point I had switched to AMD anyway. I think it was a K6/2 350 that I had. 3DFX Voodoo / S3 Trio 64 FTW!

    titanzero

I had one of these except with a P3 500 in. It lasted years running linux just fine. I only got rid of it last year. But with a Celeron it should be considered instantly obsolete.

I bet it runs every bit as fast as my current eMachine.

That computers can run awesome games and really cool apps with that crappy specs. I allways wonder why cellphones with much better specs can’t do it well.

My 8gb Micro SD card laughs at this hard drive.

I thought my 10 year old Dell I have was pathetic.

I used to have to sell this exact same model when I worked at Best Buy all those years ago. IIRC the motherboard is hot-glue-gunned to the chassis.
