Yay, yet another angry internet denizen realizes that there is, in some small way, a double standard based on gender. So glad that he whipped up this crappy poster to show us all the error of our ways. 😐

Reminds me of every 19-year old woman who took their first women’s study course and went around lambasting every boy they caught absent-mindedly staring at the scantily clad coed who walked by. I remember my response to “aren’t you ashamed of yourself?”: “no. Why should I be?”

Look (directed at creator of this, not OP), yes there are double standards. There are double standards for everything. It cuts both ways–a guy who sleeps with a lot of women is an accomplished dude while a woman in the same position is a slut. This (the Twilight example) is middle age women reliving the temultuousness of their middle-school/early high school days in a relatively safe way. Guys do that by looking up pictures of 18-29 year-old women in cheerleader outfits or catholic schoolgirl uniforms. If the women actually try to act out their relivings (not exactly sure how in this case, unless you know some real vampires), it would be as bad as a guy who wanted to see actual schoolgirls in those outfits, and should be treated as such.
