São Paulo, named after the city, was an early dreadnought built for the Brazilian Navy. Authorized in 1905 as the second of two ships in the Minas Geraes class, she was launched on 19 April 1909 and commissioned on 12 July 1910.

NAe São Paulo (A12) is a Clemenceau class aircraft carrier of the Brazilian Navy, formerly the French Foch. It was built in 1957 and was purchased from France in 2000.
