    Someday I will a backyard filled with things like this. But tightly packed together. Why? Nobody knows.

    Lilac bushes, planted parallel, then lashed together at a height of 6+ feet, will grow together in a similar (albeit narrower) fashion. we had a few tunnels like this in my parents’ yard. made for fun games of Hide n Seek, as well as awesome forts.
