That’s probably the most accurate slogan to come out of this whole election. It’s going to come true no matter who gets voted in.

hope for the best- prepare for the worst.
it’s a mainstay in any intelligent person’s arsenal of good advice.
another good one is: “Hope for the breast, prepare for the courts.” This one covers a slightly different set of situations, however. . .
