“Humanity has the stars in its future, and that future is too important to be lost under the burden of juvenile folly and ignorant superstition.”

    Caio

    He died of AIDS

    Bicoid

The same source said he had contracted HIV from a blood transfusion received during a heart bypass operation in December 1983. How you die doesn’t diminish what you accomplished in your life.

    Caio

Yeah but the thing is: He died of AIDS

    .But not fail.

Love and own all his books.

Interesting fact- He is the first person to use the term robotics in a printed work.

    – He died of AIDS, that’s a crappy way for an awesome mind to leave us. I understand what you were getting at. The shock of it was just too much for you to express.

    :p

    Bicoid

We all die of something. For him, his CD4+ count crashed. Yours will be because your p53 gene has mutated, or something similarly biologic. Who cares?

robots from the future came back and gave him aids, don’t mess with them…

The best sci-fi author of all times. We will miss him always, except for Caio, who will burn in hell for his blasphemous inferences. . . .

    gor

The best damn science, history and sci-fi author ever and so who cares he died of AIDS, so did Ryan White. Caio, ever the 4 year old, is just trying to get attention again.

    Marrock

Isaac Asimov is the only author to have a book in every Dewey decimal category.

    Phyreblade

This Man was a God among men… The first writer to ever compel me to find and read every book of his I could lay my hands on when I was a kid…

    Caio

hehehe what was I trying to imply.

I agree he was a good guy and a great writer but he died of aids.
