Thats not funny. Sometime in the future we might actually have to do that. Imagine how painfull that would be.

Only way I can think this would work is if you somehow quantum tunnelled every other molecule/atom out to form two, half density cars and passengers. Technically they should still work.

^^^ I thought the world of quantumn forms could violate the conservation of matter…if so, no need for half-density ??!?

The laws can be violated, but only for very brief periods of time and under very strict conditions. I think this sign is taking a stab at the fact that very small things have a certain degree of uncertainty in their position, so can, in theory, be in two places at once.
