The first one was okay. But that was because the vehicle selection was OK. While I may not be a Mustang fan, that Saleen Police Cruiser Barricade was HOT.

But what the fuck over with Starscream? Sorry, Starscream is supposed to be a sleek little bastard ‘con and not some hoity toity toad pos.

And with the second one, what is up with the jelly beans on wheels that Bay has a sudden fetish with? I can deal with Camaros and Saleens, and I really dug the Solstice and as Jazz not doubt. ( Though all the rampant racism, Black guy dies, sterotyped black guy, the video game had you play Jazz to distract the po’lice, and the whole stupid acronym that was put to P-O-N-T-I-A-C )

The name was created in America, but the toy/character was still made in Japan. He was known as convoy in Japan. But, he was still the same character.

Yes that was the Japanese name, but the toy started out as part of the Diaclone line. The original character was actually just a mindless drone, and had a human in the driver seat controlling it. There where several of them with the same design, but different colour (the blue one is highly sought after).

They grouped all the vehicular transformers together as the good guy, coined “Autobots,” and all the firearm and military vehicle transformers as the evil “Decepticons.”

So, toy design = Japan, character and story design = America.

I respectfully disagree. This is Elita One, down to the kneepads. Check the pics. No shoulderpads, no chest Autobot logo, the head is clearly Elita, The only similarity to Arcee is the color scheme which they both share anyway.

As a rather rabid TF fan, I wouldn’t be satisfied unless Tiki changed the title, which I’m not enough of a jerk to demand and enough of a realist to expect he won’t.
