Awesome show is awesome!

“Great show”, or (in the style of Dr. Orpheus) “The Greatest Show In The UNIVERSE, AND REALMS BEYOND!!”
-
This is the only show I intentionaly watch each week.
Also, Triana’s hair is the wrong color in this picture.
-
Love this show. I liked it when it first came out and i’m glad that it’s picked up and had more people watch so more episodes can be made
-
Does anyone have a higher resolution version of this? This show is one of the best shows on tv.
-
Mmmm, Doctor Girlfriend… Is it weird that her voice doesn’t bother me? Ya, I’d take it down.
-
@ MrDooves: raspy voice from blunt object vocal cord trauma is sexy

Love this show, can’t wait for it to return!
-
I really like this show. Nicely twisted.
-
I didn’t realize it was coming back to Showtime. I was annoyed when it was showing on network TV.
-
It’s okay that it’s on network TV… since original air is on Showtime.
This show rocks!
-
I didn’t watch it when it was showing on network TV. I just wondered if they could show it unedited. As long as it airs on Showtime first, I’m good.
-
One of the rare cases where the tv show/movie trounces the book.

Is it strange that I secretly think Conan is hot?

-
multi_masked; yes
-
I like Conan. I really like his car. I want one. A Conan car… oh yeah.
-
LMAO@storminator… I can see you really like Conan when you know what kind of car he has… I love his forest green Ford Taurus, haha. This man is SEXY. Just goes to show ya, boys, although Conan is mind-bendingly hot, it is his personality which makes him sexy. Funny is ALWAYS sexy.
-
Him and Alyson Hannegan could get together and make the whitest babies.

Waaaaaait…. where’s Martha and Donna?
-
what the history behind these things??
-
Hate…. HATE… chibis.
-
HAHAHA LMAO!!
-
@Ben1605
Since Rose is at the end of the line, this was obviously made prior to Martha and Donna joining the series.
-
Ben: In a way, after the season finale, not having Donna there would actually make sense. But as Brute points out, the graphic was done pre-Martha.
Martha Jone, BTW, is teh hawtt.

I understand the gays love AC. Is that the case, gays?
-
jascas_ – yeah. i’d hit it.
-
I LOVE YOU, AC! Ah, the Silver Fox… I only wish he weren’t (probably) gay
-
He’s been outed a couple of times now, but I’d still buy tickets to that gun show. Why are all the gays so darned yummy? *pouts*
-
His public reticence contrasts deliberately with his mother’s life spent in the spotlight of tabloid journalists and her publication of memoirs explicitly detailing her affairs with celebrities. Independent news media have reported that he is gay, and in May 2007, Out magazine ranked him second among “The Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America.” He does discuss some aspects of his personal life including his desire to have a family and children.
-
Adrominik the gay male reporting…
*drool* Om nom nom
I would let him do anything to me
That guy is hotter than Death Valley.
-
I agree with you, chandrielle. He’s just damn beautiful.
-
Chicks only like gay guys because it’s something they can’t have. I’m really neat and good looking and girls ask say I’m hot, then ask me if I’m gay. When i say no they seem… disappointed.
Not all skinny neat men are gay, y’know.
-
@Thrella
Are you sure it’s not because a couple questions earlier you had answered them “Yes” when asked if you had genital warts? I wouldn’t want a guy with genital warts attracted to me either.
Haha, just kidding.
Probably because they’re looking for a gay friend to go shopping with them. *Sigh*… Yeah, stereotypes, they suck. I absolutely deplore going shopping (for clothes). I have no interest in going to the mall unless it involves a movie, video games/electronics/computers, or going store to store asking for free samples. XD

I like how Joel Robinson is in that pictu….WAIT JUST A MINUTE! That’s not the original crew! Oh biscuits and habberdashery!
Here’s the non-Mike crew, as it used to be:

Both crews are Acceptable, and enjoyable.
Now Shut.

Agreed. Joel was funny, in a grating way, and he did wackier stuff. Mike was chill and subtle. They both have their charms and I’d watch either crew: both were fucking awesome.
-
Yes, I truly do miss that show. All for the Sandy Frank movies.
Mighty Jack and Time of the Apes. I can’t watch either without laughing randomly at vague quips echoing through my skull from MST3K….
“Do you like long walks on the beach? Mashing up your bananas? Flinging your poo?”
-
are you saying you don’t like the movie? Mike did the movie. I like Mike better probably because of the movie.
-
Ahhh Mike! How I love thee… I’ve had a crush on him since those early Saturday mornings when they’d run re-runs on Sci Fi.
For an English lit class, we had to do a paper on a book or collection of essays. I told my prof. I was doing Mike Nelson’s Mind Over Matter; she asked who he was, and I told her, and she told me “That’s not a true essayist”
So I did it any way, and I got a B
She never knew what TYPE of essays he did (even after I offered to bring the book in) but once she read my paper, she told me she thought the book would be about “Stupid TV essays.” Bitch.
-
You don’t understand English Lit yet. It’s not about literature or learning. It’s about puffing your feathers.
Puff them harder, god damnit. You should have done Mark Twain and called him the homosexual inventor of racism.

I thought it was better with Joel around and with Trace Beaulieu voicing Crow.
-
You were WRONG. It was fun when Joel and Trace were on the crew, and it was fun when Mike and Bill Corbett replaced tham.
-
mike wrecked the hubble.
-
i was always a mike guy, cause hes hilarious.
Joel was depressed all the time.

i’ve always loved the style of these photos. never watched a full episode of the show, though.
-
Then you’ve missed out.
As much as it was tarnished by the Italian American over-worship this show was pretty consistently awesome. A few hiccups near the end but still heads above pretty much everything else on TV.
-
I really like how the carpet goes all the way out into the driveway…
-
how about the fact that the woman reflected in the glass isnt anywhere in the picture
-
@goforbroke: That’s his psychiatrist. The image of her reflected in the glass is symbolic because Tony always takes her words into account into his everyday life.
Being an Italian-American, I have no ties to the mafia whatsoever. Thanks to this show, anyone of Italian descent who tries at a campaign run in New Jersey (or anywhere else) will be rejected due to his or her last name. How much does Sudano sound like Soprano? Jeez. I hate society.

Why does anyone even care? There just fucking computers. Its a shit load of plastic and metal(sometimes glass), thrown together into a device and then customized to meet the standards of each company. For all you idiots, Mac OS X is Vista now. It was sold to them and then they tweeked it to make it there own. I dont really care about it, both windows and Mac os’ are fine with me.

How can you call people losers when you type like that? I will, however, accept being called a loser simply because I could read it.
Personally, not a mac fan, I have no reasons. If it came down to it I would just use linux.
-
The idea that Vista is built on Mac is retarded. I can definitely see some of the components being pulled over, but the architecture as a whole is different. Mac is still basically a super customized unix platform isn’t it?
-
Mac OS is designed for morons that don’t want/can’t handle the ability to tweak. Its dumbed down kiddy computer. Just fine for its market, but for 15 years i’ve been learning the ins and outs of windows. Its incredibly flexible and powerful when you have half a brain. I also prefer building pc’s from scratch, modifying, upgrading. Component swaps and hardware flexibility is immense with PC. Mac is just a fisher price version of a real computer.
-
@ jediadept
Well I may still be wrong, but one of my friends was a programmer for vista and they said that. I believe them to be reliable but you never really know. To everyone else who disagreed. I use ‘tweek’ freely. Its the same basic system just changed to look different and Im only talking about the newest OSX.

To view pic use 2 fingers to pull back eyelids and firmly press eyeballs against the screen.

Almost awesome. Anyone know where a larger version is?

This is the original, but it’s only slightly bigger.

Does Paul McGann really count? Can’t we pretend the TV movie just didn’t happen?
-
Reboot, in Smith and Jones, The Doctor drew all of his past forms, including McGann, so now he officially counts.
-
When does the 10th doctor state “Have you met the French??!”
-
“in Smith and Jones, The Doctor drew all of his past forms, including McGann, so now he officially counts.”
That was when The Doctor has deliberately erased/suppressed his memories. So I’m just going to pretend that he had forgotten how terrible that movie was.
-
reboot, I’m sure that’s one of the big shocks The Doctor got when he became a Time Lord again. “You’re…Martha Jones…and I was in a tv mov….OH DEAR GOD NO!!!”

Oh hell, so serious.
-
Saw the Simpsons the other night, it failed at trying to be Family Guy.
-
@ bright green
If failed because Family Guy sucks. Only funny if you are either really high or retarded.
-
Family Guy does not suck – I find it humorous on a regular basis. I’ve never gotten high – ever – and I have a master’s, so I’m reasonably certain I’m not retarded.
-
Drew, you do know that Family Guy was made by the same producers as The Simpsons/Futurama before Family Guy even piloted? Asshole.
-
the only time I watch family guys is when I’m really high. Lets tell a story by cutting to a flashback or flashforward 10 times in 30 minutes. Sounds like “great” writing to me! Family Guy sucks, Simpson’s is OK (after 20 years) Futurama is the BEST

Wow, a quick look at all relating wiki articles (seth mcfarlane, matt groening, the Simpsons, the Family Guy) revealed NO cross-references from those shows ever having anything to do with each other. Your shit is wrong!
The Family Guy had to live up to the hype of the very popular Simpsons and Futurama, but ultimately failed. TWICE! Only strong DVD sales caused Fox to bring it back onto the air. And the only reason Fox did that was b/c News Corp is trying to achieve global domination in all things media and need all the money they can get…
-
@Gunface: Do you realize that Producers just hire non-creative people (gaffers, moving companies) and organize finance? Basically they are accountants?

I, um.. I really enjoyed The Sopranos.
Actually, watching Goodfellas and spotting all the cast is a good laugh.
-
@24601
Goodfellas is the best mafia movie ever, Casino is probably the second best…however, I never got into the Sopranos b/c I didn’t have HBO when the show was all the rage…the movie came out almost 10 years before the Sopranos and had some major players in it…who were some of the poeople in the tv show that were in the movie? couldn’t be that many right?
-
Oh hell, there were tonnes!
Lorraine Bracco, Michael Imperioli, Frank Adonis, Tobin Bell, Frank Albanese, Tony Darrow, Chuck Low, Tony Sirico, Frank Vincent, Anthony Alessandro.. etc.
I’m not even kidding. And, hey, what happened to The Godfather?
-
My favorite mafia movie is Mafia!
-
hmmm, the Godfather, I don’t know, yeah sure its a “mafia” movie but it was on a much different scale, it came way before the tone set by the mob movies during the late 80s, early 90s. Take the Bronx Tale, Donnie Brasco, Goodfellas & Casino (dare i even say Mobsters & The Untouchables (i know they too were period films, but done a little differently)) and what you get is a “fresh” current tale of the italian-american lifestyle.
I would say the Godfather is more like an “epic classic” that depicts fairly reasonably what an Italian family had to go through to get a piece of the pie. In the modern day films, they already had the pie, they were just trying to get more!! And to hell with how many bullets and blood it took to get it.
@Drew: i thought it was maf-IIIYAAAA?

Family Guy is funny, but when it fails it FAILS and will so for like 30 second stretches. Just don’t call it brilliant or say it’s the best show ever. or funniest.
Futurama FTW!

but family guy is a fox thing and malcolm in the middle and american dad. and all of those series look like “the simpsons” to me just a lilltle more current every time.

-
@ Gunface01
I’ve never heard anything like that before. You need to reference your shit fag or else it just internet rumor. Prove it. Cockface01

“Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. His only guide on this journey is Al, an observer from his own time, who appears in the form of a hologram that only Sam can see and hear. And so Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.”

Boo Frickin Hoo!
-
It’s shows like this that make people better.
-
This was one of the few shows I would be sure to catch every week. Some great television there.
-
This show was OK, the cast members kind of sucked. Sliders did it much better!!
-
You messed that up. I think it actually went:
“…who appears in the form of a hologram that only Sam, and dogs, and insane people, and angels, and children, and anyone else for whom it’s narratively convenient can see and hear. “
-
Knight Rider
MacGyver
Quantum Leap
Baywatch
These were really good shows. These were really good shows until I watched few episodes as an adult and realized how much they actually sucked.
-
I have ALL but one or two episodes on videotape. Recorded them off of USA Network in re-runs back in the early to mid 90s (after the show was cancelled on NBC, obviously).
-

Holy crap did they really do that? That’s ridiculously low-class.
-
Yeah, they apparently did. I don’t know why I’m still surprised by anything Faux News does.
-
FOX News (cough cough) always seems to be defending itself. Not just a pundit here and there, but every single daily show spends a significant amount of their allotted time to defending itself from the “attack dogs” of other media.
-
-
As if DailyKKKos is any more unbiased and not slanted than Faux News.
-
@diabeetus:
For one, holding a public website where damn near anyone can post to the same ethical standards as network news is laughable.
Second: I don’t remember DailyKos ever marketing themselves as, say, “fair and balanced”.
Third: yet somehow, despite these facts, they still don’t stoop to doctoring photographs.
C’mon, diabeetus… tie Bill Clinton into your narrative somehow – you know you want to.
-
Who gives a shit really? I mean look at fucking MSNBC or CNN. They’re biased too, it’s just that because they’re slanted left means it’s alright. Fox is obviously slanted towards the right. Every media is biased one way or another so watch what you want but don’t bitch at one network for being biased towards a position you disagree with.
-
dude, they doctored pictures. you can’t really defend that.
Furthermore, check out some of the sites that point out dishonesty in reporting – they rip CNN & MSNBC new ones as well.
But I get it – they’re skewing for FREEDOM.
-
Having a slant is one thing, tipping over and drinking the kool-aid is another.
-
Couldn’t it be possible that the above picture is a shopped screenshot in order to discredit fox? I mean a lot of people hate fox news and well, the left wing has this way of stooping really low to get their point across. I mean yeah, it is possible that fox news actually did this, it’s just that if this was real other news companies would be frothing at the mouth so they can point out that a rival news company forges and alters photos/stories. You can’t really trust news corporations period and you can not trust the people who mindlessly follow and worship them and whatever agenda is on the skillet that day.
-
@ thelotuseater
indeed, it is a vast left-wing conspiracy. Fox News is an innocent victim.
-
Lotus, if you poke around you’ll find the video where it was shown. They would have had to shop the whole video.
-
FOX altered two pictures; the second one is not shown here.
Can’t believe some of you guys are actually defending FOX News.
/facepalm
-
MikeBabaguh, when you stop defending fox news the terrists have won.
-
Couldn’t it be possible that Fox News is showing the REAL pictures of these people, and the liberal media has been using altered pictures to appear more photogenic?
I mean, the liberal media will stop at nothing until we’re all homosexuals who occasionally dabble in straight sex just so we can get abortions.
-
I have to say, Fox News is the best comedy on TV right now. The only problem is, they don’t understand why people are laughing at them.
-
God, those aren’t even good shoops.
-
a news organization promoting “Fair and Balanced Reporting” is like a restaurant promoting,
“Thoroughly Cooked Food!” NO SHIT?! That’s the very least we expect of you.
is the attack dog’s name Gromit? amirite?
-
@Dyna-Mole
Holy shit I was thinking the exact same thing. I wasn’t going to say anything though because I didn’t think anyone would get the refrence.
-
a shame there isn’t as many here as thoroughly saturated in fine culture as yourself, my good man.
-
I actually saw the show where they did this. It was on their morning show or whatever, and I stopped channel surfing because I saw that weird, shopped pic of the guy.
Naturally, it piqued my interest. From what I remember, the guy is apparently some other editor/reporter who works for another news network(I want to say the NY Times, but I can’t remember exactly). Anyway, he recently criticized Fox News about something, so Fox retaliated by saying the guy was only “attacking” them because he has an axe to grind due to the fact Fox News apparently fired the guy a few years ago when he used to work for them. This, somehow, lead to them to taking the 4chan approach to defending themself.
-

It always annoys when people the media has a left-wing bias. It also annoys when people talk about talk about the left-wing in American politics, or refer to the Democratic party as being ‘left-wing’. There is no left-wing in American politics (that is at all prominent or significant).
Sure, they’re left of the Republicans, but that by no means makes them left-wing.
The centre of American politics is no where near the centre of the political spectrum.
Capitalism is right-wing. Corporations are about as right-wing as you can get.
CNN and NBC are corporations; they are right-wing by definition.

Speak to me when you can actually articulate a valid and respectful response or something other than ” HAHAH REPUBLICENZ R STOOPID, U R STUPID BECAUSE U SOUND LIKE A REPOOPLICAN!” Until then go back to your dime-a-dozen Edgy political blog where you will no doubt jack off into your face bewildered by your own musings.

“Couldn’t it be possible that the above picture is a shopped screenshot in order to discredit fox? I mean a lot of people hate fox news and well, the left wing has this way of stooping really low to get their point across”
Sorry, there must be some other way to interpret those words that I happened to miss. And yes, I tried to use humor/sarcasm, because this isn’t the most sober of environments.
But really, it was a fairly absurd point to make that fox was the victim. If I say that reverend wright’s infamous sermon was spliced together to frame obama, I’m asking to catch a bit of flak.
So, how about you look at the tone of my responses, compare them to what you wrote in reply, ad kindly stick your head in the oven? (I’ll wait)
If you look again, you’ll see that I didn’t attack a person, I addressed your argument – even if I treated it with less than the reverence you apparently expect.
-

f I say that reverend wright’s infamous sermon was spliced together to frame obama, I’m asking to catch a bit of flak.
You must have missed the memo that came out afterwards. That’s exactly what happened. Anyone that’s ever been in a southern bastist church knows exactly how those sermons go.
Act 1: The preacher’s all hellfire and brimstone telling you how the world is going to hell, and you’re the cause of it.
Act 2: Judgement day is right around the corner, you will be judged and you will go to hell.
Act 3: but there’s a loophole! They then tell you how you can avoid this fate, and how you can help the world.
Fox News, and MSM in general were focusing on acts 1 and 2. When there was a general religious understanding of the material, it was dropped from the public hivemind.
-
@chris etc, etc.
I never explicitly said that fox news was a victim, just that it was possible. Learn to read fucko. Also tone is kinda hard to convey in written conversation. Also that oven trick worked pretty well. i am dead sucking the devils cock and playing with my ding a lang a ding dong. You on the other hand are still a pompous self absorbed fuck who likes to hear himself talk.
-
@lotus
Glad the oven worked out for ya. My apologies if you have an electric oven – I assumed it was a gas one, and would have been a lot less slow and painful. I’m not grasping how saying it was ‘possible’ that fox was the innocent party somehow takes your statement out of the land of the absurd. It’s ‘possible’ McCain feasts on the blood of infants behind closed doors in an effort to prolong his life, but not very likely. And I take offense – I’m clearly a pompous, self-absorbed fuck who likes to read his own type.

Don S. Davis (General Hammond on Stargate SG-1) passed away this last Sunday of a heart attack. I was pissed when he was replaced on the show and am now saddened that he will never return.

I never watched Twin Peaks. I keep meaning to.
The last few seasons are Stargate were kind of painful because of the cast changes. I stuck with it and have even given Atlantis a chance. I remember watching the movie and thinking, “They need to make more” and was beyond excited about the series which was fantastic while on Cinemax (right?) and was never QUITE as good once it got moved to regular cable. I think the worst move was when they went to the Sci-Fi channel… casting changed quite a bit, as did costumes for extras.

A good man with an impressive service record. I woulda voted for him.

Oh so now Brock has jumped on the “Tearing peeps in half” bandwagon…? Tsk, tsk, tsk…
-
It’s not that difficult to tear through mummified remains- probably over a thousand years old- and toilet paper. I’m sure anybody could do it.
-
Broc Sampson is awesome, this picture oozes win.
-
Brock Samson evidentially learned how to rip people in half from Kratos, the true God of War.
-
I hear his voice actor everywhere.
-
I don’t know his name but it’s the same actor that does Joe on Family Guy, was Putty on Seinfeld and Johnny Johnson on News Radio. You’re right though, he does a ton of stuff.
-
His name is Patrick Warburton.
-
You know, I used to know the guy who came up with the Venture Brothers, he once worked at the comic book shop I used to frequent.
I even have a signed copy of his first attempt at a comic book, Cement Shooz.

Head Six is my least favorite character. Got any D’Anna crotch?
And don’t say “go fish” if you don’t…
-
Go fish.
-
I’d fish in that. As long as there’s no actual fish involved.
-
Cyclon camel toe? WIN!
