Caught this on cable a few weeks ago; done by the same group that put together a silent-film treatment of “Call of Cthulhu” in 2005. This was done in more of a ’50′s monster-movie style. In spite of a somewhat bummer ending (even more than the story,) it was very well done, atmospheric & genuinely scary. I thought Matt Foyer (as Dr. Wilmarth –4th pic) was a hoot; he & Jeffrey Combs should team up for their next production.
