   Positive those last two are not US Navy. Fairly sure they are Soviet ships.

   You are correct, the third one down is the Udaloy II Class Destroyer, Admiral Chabaneko, while the bottom picture is the Kiev Class Aviation Cruiser, Minsk.

   Electronic warfare equipment:
   Most of the dedicated airborne electronic attack equipment is mounted in the space that used to house the internal 20 mm cannon and on the wingtips. Nine weapons stations remain free to provide for additional weapons or jamming pods.    I think there’s an inconsistently-used design ethos in Star Trek where ships are designed along “warp-dynamic lines” or somesuch.

   And force fields are a convenience that real-space scifi almost can’t do without. Otherwise, any ship traveling near or past the speed of light would require massive hulls for radiation shielding.

   Why should it be a “Stunner”, Swastikas were in use i Finland LONG before Adolf Hitler even born. You will also find the “Hakenkreuz” (German for “Crooked Cross”) in Asiatic, American Indian, African and European Art going back into antiquity. Until the Nazis screwed it up for everybody, it WAS a Good Luck Symbol.
