(ps, I’m staying up to watch my security cameras to be sure they don’t try anything stupid. I went over and “chatted” with them about the volume of their musics)

   A few years back,about 4 AM, I sat straight up in bed when there was a loud sound and the building shook. The sound was someone trying to kick in a door. Doing it hard enough to actually shake a 2 story/8 unit apartment building. (Not the most solid building, but a solid door). Again and again someone tried kicking in the door. When it became clear his efforts where futile, he started yelling about his buddy leaving him hanging, with no way to get in the apartment while he was off banging some chick he just picked up. How could he do this to someone visiting from 1000 miles away. Another neighbor, beat me to it, but came out and started giving him shit which he didn’t want to hear and continued yelling. As my neighbor talked him down the cops showed up and said they had several complaints. There was no way the guy could prove he was staying here, the guy wouldn’t answer his phone, so the cops started to process him to arrest him. He foolishly started yelling again, they cuffed him and put him in the car while the cops talked to the other neighbors. As the cops were walking back to their car, the guy comes home, talks to the cops, confirms who the perp is, but the cops charge him anyway for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Whole nightmare lasted about an hour and a half.

   I lived downstairs from…..a band. Yes, an entire band. I was there for 13 months before they moved in, and they seemed like such nice fellows. I moved into a new apartment 5 weeks later.

   I used to rent an apartment that have nice solid walls but the floor was thin as paper, I could actually hear when the downstairs neighbor switched lights on an off. At one point I got a new downstairs neighbor who received a stereo for Christmas and a metallica CD. 1 cd. that he played loudly over and over. I asked him to turn it down, he didn’t. I asked the landlord to inform him that other people have shifts that start in the AM. He would co-operate until she was gone then back to blasting. I called the cops once. Finally I had enough on new years eve when he invited all his friends over. I put on my boots and jacket and walked around the complex in the snow and found his breaker box and threw the main switch. I watched from the laundry room as his guests all left and he looked confused as to why he had no power. Three days passed of blissful silence. On the fourth day I came home from work to find a note from the power company telling him there was nothing wrong with the power and that he should turn the breaker back on. I swiped the note and reactivated the power so I could use this trick again. I didn’t get a chance since he was evicted a month later after the landlord was informed that 17 separate complaints had been called into the police by other neighbors. I got to smile and wave as he packed up and left.

sad news, and I need your help

I usually wait for the queue to drop down to about a day out before I throw my own images into the mix, I’d rather let you guys submit. Armed with that knowledge…

My grandmother passed away early Saturday morning so I’m traveling across the country for the funeral. This all happened right as MCS was hitting a point that I would normally just post some images that I found myself, but since I’m on the road now, either I rely on your assistance with image submissions or the site runs dry by wednesday, and I won’t be back at a normal computer until Friday night ….

So, be kind and post some images so everyone doesn’t have to experience the horror of no new images on MCS?

have you ever used that word when there wasn’t a dead person involved? I mean, really now.

         Very nice, they are kick ass guns. My husband also has one of the Rock Island 1911′s for his CCW and got me mine in self defense because I always enjoy shooting his. I almost got the rock Island 9mm but we ended up running across the .45 at a good price.

    This week has been amazing.

    Saturday I went to Colorado to see my family and to Christmas shop. My grandmother wanted to help us out, so she took us to Sams Club and bought us 160 dollars worth the groceries. While over in CO, we ran into a good friend of ours and went to lunch and caught up on missed time. After that, we drove home and picked up our kids from my parents house.

    Today was a blast. I Woke up this morning to a blanket of snow and the smell of hot cocoa. My wife also made scones. I had to go to physical therapy today and while we were there, we dropped off a bunch of blankets to give to the elderly in the extended care unit of the hospital. Sadly, some of those people in there do not receive any type of gift from family or friends, so hopefully this brings a smile to their face tomorrow. When we got home, my son and daughter played with play doh and made Santa’s and snow men. We then gave them Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and they loved it. After that, we found “How the Grinch stole Christmas” on tv and watched it. The kids loved it. My son wasn’t feeling good, because he has a fever and possibly a cold coming on, so I stayed home with him while my wife went to our churches Christmas Eve service with my parents and her best friend. My son and I talked about Christ and how Christmas is important because it celebrates the birth of Jesus. We watched some cartoons about Jesus’ birth and set out cookies for Santa.

    Right now we are setting up stockings and putting batteries into my sons new remote control truck, which I had been working and saving up for since he told me he wanted one back in July. My daughter will be happy to get her interactive Dora the Explorer doll tomorrow.

    Christmas is a wonderful holiday, and I have no idea how people can see the negative in going to see family and deliver gifts. I also cannot believe that you would bitch over the fact that someone went out and got you something, even if it was mediocre in your eyes.

    Also, I’m not making shit up. This is how my week went.

we need an image for “not exactly safe for work”

We need a work-safe image for use in place of the text on all the “not exactly safe for work” posts.

The image should be around 700×700 pixels in dimension, just submit it as a regular image, mentioning somewhere in the post that it’s supposed to be as a placeholder text for the NESFW posts.

Also, I fixed a couple things to combat two issues:
Duplicated content on the second page
Slow as fuck MCS

If you have any future problems with the site, let me know in the forums, where we can verify what’s going on.

 

EDITED: you can tag them “NESFW Placeholder”

       Yeah, so maybe twice the width of an ad? Plus, there will be two or three per page on average; anyone who visits more than once will learn to recognize them. I’m just concerned that if a third of the length of the page is the same image you have to slog through, it will bore people.
