I’m happy to report that my very first honest to goodness web service is up and running and appears to be fully functional: www.tikisee.com/

it’s strictly a proxy site, so if you find that www.myconfinedspace.com or other sites (www.piratebay.se maybe?) are being blocked by your school / office, you can try to use the www.tikisee.com/ proxy.

Let me know if you see any issues with it!

       Yeah, but Jews don’t actually drink blood, they drink sugary awful wine. At least some Asians do eat dogs, and torture pretty much any animal, although mostly out of convenience (less money on cages, easier transport). I saw it every day for years when I was over there.

       Want proof?
       1) Go to any large open market in southern China, or in some cities in northern China. Find dog butcher next to crowded cage of dogs. Watch.

       2) Find any restaurant in China that says “??” in really big characters (these will be on nearly every street in some cities)(that was supposed to be ‘gourou’ but apparently Tiki removed unicode support ((). Because it is not a secret or a source of shame, they will freely advertise “dog meat”. Ask to see the kitchen. Many restaurants in China are quite proud of their fresh ingredients, so will gladly show you the dogs being killed.

       What’s the problem? I thought we were supposed to love all cultures because all cultural differences were beautiful and need our understanding! You didn’t think it was all fengshui and funny roofs did you?

         Seriously, it is extremely common to eat dog meat in China. There is no taboo against it whatsoever. I’ve eaten it myself a few times.

         If you want to ride your “not racist” high horse, you’re going to have to accept there are things in other countries you do not agree with.

         Your line of reasoning – “It’s racist to suggest non-whites do not aspire to white customs” – is far more racist than any easily verifiable truth like “Asians eat Dogs”.

   Well, censoring fucked up shit, is very fucked up itself. However, using a banner (similar to NeSFW) to advise viewers that there is some fucked up shit, might be the best solution.      That all depends on the air resistance, initial velocity, and what point on earth the book was dropped from, as gravity is not actually equal across the earth or within it.

     Assuming equal gravitational forces upon the book as it nears the earth’s center (about 6378 kilometers down) the book’s acceleration due to gravity would decrease, but its velocity would remain constant (excluding air resistance).

     The big wild card is the air resistance and if the air resitance changes as we get further near the center, which it most likely would increase as we get closer to the center.

   I don’t buy that about the spring and weight.

   A compressed spring should weigh the same as a non-compressed spring. They both have the same mass and that is effected the same by gravity. Try turning the spring on its side and weighing it and then compressing it (still on its side) and weighing it. It should weigh the same.

   The only way it will weigh more is if it is being pressed (compressed) against the scale and then you arn’t measuring the weight of the spring, you are measuring the weight of the spring AND the pressure necessary to compress the spring.

   notice in none of these examples is the mention of spacial travel in relation to temporal travel. i dont know how many people will remember, but awhile back someone posted a comic picturing what really would happen if you could travel thru time; that the earth would have moved in orbit, and you would wind up floating in space. i argued vehemently that that was complete bullshit because moving in time is NOT the same as moving in space. although this posting proves nothing because time travel is impossible, it does prove that i fucking knew what i was fucking talking about, and not talking out of my ass like some who will not be mentioned, because you idiots know who you are.

Years ago, I was like, fuck-ballllls, I’m going to make some made CASH by putting up a pay wall for future posts.

that didn’t really work out too well, so everyone can see the future posts now. For those of you that never ponied up for the MCS+ access, now you can see the images that are about to be posted on mcs, comment on them, rate them, all that bull shit. Immediately after submitting stuff you can comment on it or share the url with anyone you want to. Let me know if you see anyone abusing this.

You just don’t get an MCS+ badge, so you’re still not one of the cool kids, but we’ll let you sit at our table.

One thing to note then is that everyone can see how weak or strong the queue is. I’ll adjust the rate of posts hitting the front page to keep it it at around a week’s worth of posts. I’ll have several hundred of my own standing by, so bla bla bla, post some shit.

Btw, that last sticky post I left up hit the top 10 commented on posts, which is awesome. yay guns?

   hey tiki… the RSS feed appears to be screwed up. the last image to appear there was Future Car yesterday, and there have been a whole bunch of new images since then, that haven’t shown up at all.

   with your own, built-in RSS feed generator, i find it a little odd that you’re using feedburner instead… but hey, you’re the webmaster. i’m just reporting a problem.

     waaaaay back in the day when I first set up MCS, there were some issues with the wordpress RSS system, AND google was putting ads in their feedburner stuff.

     now though, it’s still there because there’s 2300 people subscribed to the stupid feedburner feed.

   Shit, was that already YEARS ago? I remember reading about MCS+, and then finding out I got gifted it cuz I’d been round ah’while. Felt special.
