   I’d be one of the first to love that this is a poor photoshoped image fom the Romney camp, but this is a panoramic shot. I’ve had the same effect show up in my panoramic shots too. Thus why I don’t use the feature on my camera any more.

   Romney has enough fail already, so the fact this isn’t photoshoped shouldn’t matter. It would have been sweet, but oh well. =)

   He’s a good 15 feet from the dock, I’m guessing he was parked farther up the hill, parking brake wasn’t on quite tight enough and once it was slowed by the water the parking brake was enough to slow and hold it in place.

    The only lame wreck dives are rowboats that get put in the bottom of quarries. The variety of environments, from water’s edge on down would support all kinds of different sea life. Also, you would almost certainly be able to get inside of the dining room and maybe even the bridge, which take this from so so wreck to very dangerous cave. All in all, not a typical wreck, which is what makes it interesting.

Internet Explorer 8 has a little feature Microsoft calls “Suggested Sites” that is supposed to list other websites you might like based on what you are currently viewing. I tried it with M[C]S, and IE8 had no clue what to suggest. I guess it just goes to show that there\’s nothing at all like M[C]S on the entire web!

   @Sticky: I have NO PROBLEM admitting that IE sucks, but I still have to test it at work for compatibility with other applications (like Oracle, which REALLY sucks!) and our eTime program. IE is NOT what I use at home.

   Oh, and thanks for completely ignoring the actual content of the post and just attacking. This is what I’ve come to expect from about 1/2 of the M[C]S commenters.

   Yea IE8 sucks. Half the websites cause it to crash. So they say to use the “computability mode.” Why would they put in an extra step when you don’t have to do that with Safari, Firefox or Opera? I can surf all day on the later three with no problems, but IE8 just crashes all the time. Plus they display HTML tables incorrect.    @Drew: compatibility mode is a feature that should have been around for a log time. See, lazy web page developers are pretty fucking lazy and don’t do shit all day but work on their muscles. So when Microsoft bestows on us the latest and greatest browser, these web page programmers just sit on their lazy asses and don’t both to make sure their webpages look right.

   I have already had the beta for 6 months, and as soon as the release came out, several sites no longer required compatablitly mode. So, the answer is if you see the icon, then click it and chances are it will fix minor glitches on the web page.

   If there is no icon, then that means that the web page programmer for that was not a lazy ass person and actually went through and updated it.

   All in all, IE8 rocks, no windows 7 love though, we are stuck w/ a beta of IE8 specifically enhanced like its on steriods.

   @PaganPaul: I’ve never used suggested sites, but I’m guessing it pulls stuff from your cache or cookies. Now that you have set it or whatever, and go to several other blog oriented sites (?) more stuff should start popping up.

    @token2k6: That is some of the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. So you are saying all web developers, including myself, have fucked up and broke all websites and we need to be thanking microsoft for creating this “compatibility mode” which fixes all the mistakes web developers made? What it is genius, is a way to view websites that screw with IE. Since MS is soooo good at marketing they called it compatibilty mode but in all honesty it should be called, “redundant fuck mode because we are too busy fixing shit we’ve fucked up for so long.”

    @token2k6: No douch, it doesn’t pull from your cookies or cache, it finds websites that are similar based on their meta description.

    @Drew: You’ve missed the point completely, much like your life…

    I said, that when a new browser comes out, support has to be added for that browser. all browsers have this, not juse IE8. So in the past, if a web page didn’t display correctly, you were just stuck with it until that companies lazy ass web manager updated the site.

    Now you have the option to have the browser automatically revert back to an older setting that was maybe compatable with IE 7. So now, they are letting lazy ass web programmers be even lazier b/c they can just say fuck it, I won’t do anything and people can use compatiblity mode. however, that is fail.

    @PaganPaul: hehe I use eTime too ^_^ I have the IEtab add-on for Firefox that I use for stupid sites like that for work. I suppose that still counts as technically using IE in a roundabout way though. =P
