   By all means delete it if the fictional characters offend you so. My purpose was to show what would really happen if women dressed in skimpy outfits to fight super villains.

   And thanks silverwolf for you grammar lesson, I didn’t by any means put it the raper on purpose.

   Had I change the words rape with domination, and raper with dominator (which would fit a little better as it is close to terminator) I would have ten 5 stars by now. Next time I will church up the titles for you guys.

Man of Steel

No obvious problems with this particular Superman film, there was a jarring Krypton -> Earth cut, but I’m happy to say there were no complete fuck ups here.  There wasn’t anything after the credits though, which says to me that WB is still on the fence about this whole “Superman franchise” idea.

Something that I DID appreciate though was that Lois Lane was much more of a real character in this film, and actually showed some investigative journalism chops.  Shame they made her a red head though, I’ve always preferred my Lois Lanes to be brunettes. . .

     that was based off of the partnerships they had for the movie release, which was a smart move for them, but if the movie doesn’t land properly those sequels will be it, and they’ll forget about the JLA movie that’s been rumored for years.

   wow was that scene disappointing or what? 40+ suits of armor, and we got to see like 5 of them for about 5 seconds before they were completely trashed by the glow worms.

     *puts on nerd glasses* Actually, out of the 34 armors that showed up in this scene (MK 1 through 7 were destroyed earlier) I think around 20 made it out intact until Tony initiated the “appease the whiny girlfriend” protocol. I counted 17 audible explosions of armors, with more just lighting up without sound after that. Also, only 7 armors are seen being completely destroyed in combat.

   Here’s a simple hint for those writing/directing superhero movies: see the movie title? Notice that the title is a character’s name? Well, he’s the one who saves the day. Not his girlfriend. Not his goddam (virtual) butler. HIM. You might have other people giving him a hand, that works too. But that’s HELPING him save the day, not SAVING THE DAY FOR HIM.
