    “Avatar: The Last Airbender” Review

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Created by Albert Kim. With Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu. A young boy known as the Avatar must master the four elemental powers to save the world, and fight against an enemy bent on stopping him.

Jamming 20 episodes worth of animated content into 8 episodes of live action television is a daunting task, but one that was successfully achieved with this latest adaptation of the The Last Airbender. The costumes are perfect, the story is tight, and the air bisons fly in a fantastic and believable fashion. The casting for this is so damn spot on that If I didn’t know a couple of the actors from other roles I would easily assume there was heavy prosthetics and CGI used to get them so close to the original animated versions of them. Add to that, the creators of this show were faithful to the animated version’s soundtrack, a brave but justified choice imho.
