‘Star Wars’ Actress Kelly Marie Tran on How Her Life Story Mirrors Rose Tico’s

Kelly Marie Tran, who plays Rose Tico in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” returns for “The Rise of Skywalker” and reflects on her time in the franchise and explai…

This is a fantastic interview and story, I definitely do not want to take away from that, but my first point is that I really did not realize how pretty Kelly Marie Tran is, they really gummed her up for the Star Wars movies.

    Runaways

Created by Stephanie Savage, Josh Schwartz. With Brittany Ishibashi, Kevin Weisman, Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano. After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents’ actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.

I’m assuming they were starting a new show format, much like Agents of SHIELD, where there’s a couple different story pods in a single season that all reference back to each other, but unfortunately for them they only got half a season and a cancellation soon after. First half of the season was ok, the second half was balls out just crazy with legit magic, the actual morgan le fey, time travel, and all sorts of nonsense that made no sense but made for a fun ride.

    A Candle for Fuck This

    Hercules

Directed by Ron Clements, John Musker. With Tate Donovan, Susan Egan, James Woods, Josh Keaton. The son of Zeus and Hera is stripped of his immortality as an infant and must become a true hero in order to reclaim it.

A lot of people have suggested this film is their favorite Disney film and I don’t want to step on their toes, but it isn’t for me. I dislike the music style and I dislike the animation style.

    The Expanse

Created by Mark Fergus, Hawk Ostby. With Steven Strait, Cas Anvar, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham. A police detective in the asteroid belt, the first officer of an interplanetary ice freighter, and an earth-bound United Nations executive slowly discover a vast conspiracy that threatens the Earth’s rebellious colony on the asteroid belt.

This is Amazon’s first season of the show, officially the fourth season of the series. It’s obvious to me that they’ve laid out a path for the series and are comfortable with taking the slow route, which is vastly to it’s benefit. I’m assuming they saw the total shitshow that the final season of Game of Thrones turned out to be and realized that letting the story breath just a bit would work out for everyone.

    Lost in Space

Created by Irwin Allen, Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless. With Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, Maxwell Jenkins, Taylor Russell. After crash-landing on an alien planet, the Robinson family fight against all odds to survive and escape, but they’re surrounded by hidden dangers.

Season two is finally here and it’s everything I hoped it would be. The story continues to move at an excellent pace and there still hasn’t been many situations where I thought everyone in it was acting stupid.
