for the last couple weeks, from the corner of my eyes, I’ve been catching glimpses of thing skittering along my walls, and rushing towards me. Festering wounds on staircases, hands moving to my feet to trip me. When I turn my head to look, they end up being just scuff marks on the walls, or socks sitting on the stairs.

Last night, they didn’t change from the skittering terrors to innocuous items of clothing.

They remained.

Its a new syndrome generated out of people that stare at a computer too much, it causes peripheral vision to get all wonky and out of place. That, and it tends to happen to me while driving at night, stuff like people running by, and animals jumping in and out of light.

But the notion that it’s scabs, and wounds would be completely psychological on your part. Your eye’s adjustment is getting out of whack, and so you’re psyche is making up for it with what you’d assume it to be.

Nah, I looked it up, it just says every so often when working on a computer, look at something far away “just because” so your eye doesn’t get strained at looking at something up close for so long.

Who knows if it actually means anything, though.
