Gordon Brown’s remarks to the G20 summit.

Opening: “Today, the largest countries of the world have agreed to a global plan for recovery and reform.”

1:01 mark “I think the New World Order is emerging, and with it the foundations of a new and progressive era of international co-operation. We have resolved that from today, we will together manage the process of globalization to secure responsibility from all, and fairness to all. And we’ve agreed that in doing so, we will build a more sustainable and more open and a fairer global society”.

seriously, the only people freaking out over this are the ones that have been brainwashed into equating the phrase “new world order” with something bad.

And then someone that’s never heard of that phrase before comes along and says “hey, we have a new world order now, everything is good” and they can’t understand why that other guy is foaming at the mouth. Last night I was listening to the BBC-a and one of the reporters asked “was there anything good to come out of this, perhaps a new world order that will deliver us from the problems we’re currently facing…”

A new world order is a good thing in this case. our current one is fucked up beyond usability.

No it isn’t.

A new world order is still bullshit. Without competition you have no leverage. New World Order in this case is essentially communism and we all know how well that works when in practice.

Globalization shouldn’t be embraced and sucked on. It should be controlled and that means not just policing the actions of the big bad white people countries. Especially when the problems come from the east like China who got busted last week for monitoring the activities on 1300 computers world wide including the Dali Lamas.

New World Obama is a unified front is all. Bad news all around.

Even if they weren’t monitoring 1300 computers, they probably would’ve monitored the Dali Lamas. China can be blamed for a lot of things, such as supporting the violence in Sudan, as long as it stays away from their oil wells.

Yeah, this is still the NWO that Bush Sr. was talking about. The dream of globalization that goes back to the frigging Nixon administration (who up until January was still running DC, see Rumsfeld, Cheney, Kissinger, etc.)

What has it gotten us so far? We traded our good, reliable factory jobs, that you could support a family on for your whole life, for Walmart, who gets everything from China but hardly pays any import tax at all.

The call center I used to work for, doing phone work for companies like Apple, Microsoft, etc, has moved most of it’s jobs over to India.

NWO is still bad.

@ mAgnUS BUTTfoorson: You magnificent bastard! That is my favorite governmental emblem of all time! I had it for a while as my wallpaper. It’s a shame they discontinued it’s use. It was likely decided to be too honest!
