Diabeetus go die in a fire no one loves you, and they don’t let gays in the army on purpose anyways so you’re screwed, and not in a good way.
KeroQuoteMarch 4, 2008 at 11:38 pm #279564Now why would the Marines bother recruiting Berkley anyway – it’s a university town, so people are rich and educated.
Everyone knows that the oversized, well-funded but suspiciously ineffective US Military is a thinly-veiled excuse to keep the ghettos and trailer parks from becoming too ‘overpoulated’. You know, a reasonable alternative to welfare.
Also, Iddq, did you just post an Evanescence lyric? That’s unusually myspace-goth of you.
CaioQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 7:27 am #284751Caio I didn’t realize that because something is a university town that it means everyone is rich and educated.
Have you ever been to Berkeley? I doubt it seeing how you can’t spell or you would obviously know the shit hole that the actual town is. It’s full of poor people that mug college kids on the streets for their money. But i guess i can’t blame you since you aren’t edumacated:)
fahzworthQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 7:38 am #284753September 5, 2008 at 7:48 am #284755I’ve been to Berkeley many many times: for pizza, to see bands, Fah, and it’s the hippiest, soyest, new agest town in the bay area bar none: it makes Haight look like Inglewood. There are muggers and poor people all over the fucking bay area (how much does the BART cost nowadays? Back in my day it was $2 and a transfer from East Oakland to Berkeley) because the Bay Area is in the United States and the US is for all intents and purposes a third world country and besides rich daddy’s kids who wear expensive clothing and are always drunk and stoned are an easy, visible target.
If your trying to tell me that the permanent population there isn’t far-left new age and rich as fuck, I’m thinking you’re probably a retarded. Most people there are either lefty professors who write books about ‘post-modernism’ and ‘the other’ while the students are Communist till they leave school and get a job in daddy’s firm but until then they get high and plan out the revolution of the proletariat.

Also, there’s a difference between being an educated American and being an educated person. And educated American’s parents send them to Berkeley where they party for four years and then blame equal opportunity when the bell curve is topped with “Chos” and “Chows” and “Wangs”. An educated person goes to University where university doesn’t necessitate rich parents and learns about things less trivial than the spelling of small party towns.
CaioQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 8:01 am #284756Great Balls Mahoney, Lotus! I told you the time machine wasn’t properly calibrated!
FlyingMantisShrimpQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 8:04 am #284757But hey clearly you learned some mad skills in ‘sandwich making 101 (final project required)’ or what ever it is they shuffle the whites through in that school.
CaioQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 8:15 am #284758wtf are you talking about? i don’t/didn’t go to berkeley, nor would i ever go there, i’m a usc football fan (not the university, just the football program). UC Berkeley isn’t a rich white boy school either dumbass, it’s a public that is overly expensive for what you get there compared with other colleges. The way i see it you basically are paying a shit load in tuition for a regular diploma with UC Berkeley stamped on it, nothing more. I dunno where i’m going with this one, but yea if you aren’t at the top of your class it’s not cuz you got asians fuckin up the curve, it’s cuz you’re too lazy to get off ur ass and study. nobodies fault but your own, which more people should learn to take accountability for themselves in this country. ah fuck it i’m rambling.
fahzworthQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 8:19 am #284759if berkeleyites were so smart they would’ve realized the easiest way to protest the war.stop paying taxes to the government. it ends funding for the military in every aspect. the problem with that is it would be a conflict of interest for all the liberals because they like spreading the wealth and having pointless programs run by the government. it’s a shame, they hate the war so much yet they aren’t willing to give up their one love
fahzworthQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 8:43 am #284760Even if it is the easiest way to protest a war(it isn’t), it’s also the easiest way to get sent to prison. If there’s the one thing the government cares about, it’s people not paying what they owe. Al Capone, a murderer, money launderer, etc. was caught for what? Tax evasion. Also, how does one stop paying his taxes nowadays? It gets deducted automatically from your paycheck, so the only way they could possibly really do that is to just stop working altogether.
I think you actually had a good point when you mentioned something about people needing to start holding themselves accountable, but that’s about it.
FlyingMantisShrimpQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 9:10 am #284761This is my impression of Fahzworth:
“Of course I’m qualified for a middle management position! Didn’t my dad phone you??? Not yet? Well, yes I do have a General Studies BA from a fancy private University. Among the other things I learned were:
1) How to spell the name of the university
2) Thousands of Simpsons quotes.
3) Sandwich making
4) Weaving a basket underwater… kind of. I failed that class because equal opportunity is reverse racist to whites.
5) A series of “emergency bongs” for example the “apple bong” and the “coke bottle bong”.“Now are you going to hire me or racist-against-whites hire the Asian candidate because of equal opportunity? Because I’m telling you my dad will call.”
“No no we already have a janitor, Mr. Cho, he has a pHd in biology. Welcome to management and six figures a year.”
“Thank you sir. Hope there aren’t any niggers at the local country club. Tiger Woods only wins because of reverse-racist equal opportunity.”

OPEN YOUR EYES, NATEDOG. OPEN YOUR EYES.
FlyingMantisShrimpQuoteSeptember 5, 2008 at 3:55 pm #284788Cal is overly expensive? Funny, I never payed any tuition. I never payed any taxes either.
Berkeley itself is a liberal, hippy town. Its got a population of 100,000 and most of those go to or work at the University. But its fucking next door to Oakland and a lot of that spills over.
One of my favorite experiences was when this douchebag, trust-fund kid (who was dating my ex) decided it would be cool to wander around with a new video camera and record “how life on the streets really is”. Two hours later, he’s literally crying in the hospital with a broken face and no camera. I didn’t stop laughing for days.@natedog, you couldn’t be more wrong.
