As anyone that’s been to MCS for longer then 48 hours can tell you, the Roast My Weenie guys have been advertising around these parts for months (years? i dunno, LoL! I guess that’s why they call this place random?), and have treated me personally very well. After I had noticed their advertising efforts (and cashed a huge check) I emailed them and asked if I could get one of their weenie roasters to try out. A few short months later, I got a cool little package in the mail. I meant to actually take pictures of the weenie guy in action last weekend, but 1.) it rained 2.) I was drunk and imagined it raining.

So, this post? It’s a reminder to myself to cook some weenies on that grill that I found a couple weeks ago on the side of the road. I’ll have an update post later one, but I just wanted to quickly tell you guys about the Roast My Weenie group, and let you know that they’re an ok company to do business with.

Also, I’m going to experiment with meatballs and tuna. Stay Tuned!

Wow, I almost had a heart attack tonight. Looking into my liquor cabinet, I found all sorts of vodka, tequila, and variously other liquor products, but not the nectar of my eye : Jack Daniels. Seriously, I almost cried! I do happen to happily to live about 30 seconds from an ABC liquor (literally, it’s two turns from my street, and about 300 feet down the road) but it was still stressful. Luckily I found a gallon of the stuff sitting on top of my fridge, so I’m in good shape. Whew.

Thank you all for post images. Normally theme days only get 48 posts (double the normal!) but I figured I’d let as many as possible through to give all the lurkers some time in the sun. Those of you with that big fat (0) by your post count need to get off your butts and post something!  Thank you all!  I now return you to your regularly scheduled MCS insanity.

you might have notice that the site was a bit sluggish for a while. that was due to fark linking to one of the pages on MCS. Luckily I was warned right when it happened and was able to put up some static content for them farkers to look at. If you’re new to MCS via Fark, welcome to the fold! say hello! Ladies and Gentleme, MCS is now running WordPress 2.5

You’ll see a little difference on the backend, but not much else is going to be different for your experience on the site.  I’m lucky in that I was able to get this done before I got too drunk tonight, which I’m just about to the point where clicking on my mouse is a confusing process.

On a totally different subject, is anyone playing Tabula Rasa on the eastern server?  I bought it for 10 bucks from amazon.com last week and I just started it, and would love to meet someone (ANYONE) in the game.  It’s fairly dead on there right now, which is a damn shame.  You get to shoot shit in it.

If you see any bugs, or if anything scares you, please feel free to send me an IM or hit the IRC channel and complain about it.

Sometime in the last week, arguably while I was drunk and passed out (or out dead with the flu) MCS stumbled through it’s 10,000th post.  How awesome is that?  What started as a drunken hobby of posting pictures on my website has turned into (a drunken hobby that I convince others to post on my website) something awesome.  Back in the day I had high hopes for www.comiccovers.com (my very first url that I ever bought!), but sadly that site never really took off.  Hell, www.comic-images.com is doing better then comiccovers, and it’s only a year or so old.  The site that’s about to blow up from all the content I’m going to add to it?  www.randomnude.com  WordPress 2.5 RC2 has been installed on it, and it’s sweet tasting shit, I’ll tell you that much.  I’ll be devoting a little more time to that site due to how awesome I think it could be 😉

Anyways, thank you to everyone that’s made MCS so awesome, and thanks to stumbledupon, digg, reddit and all the other sites that drive traffic here!  How was it that you heard of MCS?

I need a new shared host for the secondary TWG sites.  A couple of MCS lurkers have mentioned to me in the past that they’re into the hosting thing.  I’m currently looking for a dedicated server that can handle 17-30 domains, 200 gigs of content, a couple Tbs of transfer a month, and the ability to have over 500,000 files on the server.  I thought I had found that in 1and1, but they’re dicking me around with some stupid 250,000 file limit.  Comiccovers.com alone has over 160,000 files, comic-images.com has around 30,000, and randomnude.com [nsfw] has around 20,000.  I need space ya’ll.  Send me an IM or link to your hosting sites in the comments here.  We’ll have a gladiatorial combat to see who’s fit to host my sites!

The number of user submitted images is down.  Way down.  Submit something already.

There are forums now, due to the constant complaining and moaning about the lack of them.  You should be able to just pop right in, they’re designed to share the same login information and cookies that the main MCS site does.  If you have problems, please shut the hell up mention them in the comments below.

Those among you who are smart will be able to figure out how to get to them.  Good Luck!

I just spent the last couple hours reading through the stories on 365tomorrows, (a site that’s currently advertising on MCS.) I’m rather happy with most of the short stories.  Seems like all the stories are around 500-1000 words each, so they’re nice and short and to the point.  Check em out if you get the chance!

    First, the How:
    1. Goto myspace.com and login
    2. Click the Home link (first link on the left under the banner ad at the top)
    3. Click Account Settings link
    4. Under Change Account Settings, click the -Cancel Account- link
    5. Click the Cancel My Account button to confirm removal

    Now, the Why:
MySpace is endorsing bigoted assholes, spam bots and general ass hattery.  After deletion of a 30,000 member atheist group, they kinda just shrugged their shoulders and said “meh”.  So, since I don’t want to manage that crap anymore, off it goes.  If you were a friend of MCS on myspace, um, well you should have been commenting on MCS instead of that MySpace crap anyways.
