In order to drive a little more traffic to one of my side sites, I’m going to be giving away a copy of the wonderfully wonderful FPS Turret Defense game “Dungeon Defenders” (steam version) to whoever has the most viewed post on www.imgderp.com The rules are simple, just submit some content and hope that people view it. Or you can send the link to everyone you know and force them to view it, whatever works for you!
700 People Liked MCS on Facebook!

If you haven’t “liked” MCS yes, please do so from this link right here, I would greatly appreciate it! I would really love to have over 1,000 likes so that I can throw it in the face of my previous employer, “Oh, you fired me? well I have over a thousand people that like me on my facebook, so fuck you buddy.”
Also, the increased likes may lead to increased traffic, which will lead to increased income, which will lead to me not being homeless in 3 weeks when my mortgage is due. So there’s that too.
Superbowl 2012

One of the cooler parts of streaming it online is that you get to choose from 5 different views, one of which is on an airplane circling the stadium.

MCS Favorites

You can find a link to your favorite posts right next to your gravatar in the sidebar. Unwashed masses will not be able to favorite things, sorry, you’ll need to log in. Everyone will be able to see the “top 10 favorited” posts in the sidebar though, I’m interested in seeing what shows up there.
Also, remember that MCS Live is fully functional, I see no reason to cache the output, it didn’t affect server performance at all.
Please remember to “Like” MCS on facebook if you have a moment.
Also, please feel free to visit imgderp, a domain that I setup specifically for those of us that enjoyed the insanity of random theme days and can handle seeing a pony or two.
Internet-Fight is ALIVE

Loading ...Since I am now gainfully unemployed, I’ve been going through some of my old web properties that haven’t gotten much love since….crap, last post on www.internet-fight.com was in 2010, so it’s been long overdue to make sure the site is working properly, gets new content, and starts to pull it’s own weight. So I ask of you: WHY.

Looking for a few good men (and women)

Loading ...I need some volunteers to help with a new image site, just upload a couple images to www.imgderp.com or add a youtube video, or even add a blog post of your own, I’m trying to stress test it to see what can be done. right now I can’t really figure out how to format the blog stuff on the front page, and I need content to figure it out.
right now the ‘most recent’ thing on the front page is acting wonky and I need your help to figure out why.
so please, just upload some derpy images on www.imgderp.com or make a derp blog.
Interesting point of interest, had a great day for traffic yesterday, over 70,000 pageviews! if you guys keep it up, I just might not have to live in a paper box…

EDIT: There seems to be some confusion as to how the site operates:
1 – people upload stuff
2 – moderator looks at it
3 – moderator approves or denies post
4 – MCS CODE GHOST automatically schedules the posts, which MCS+ members can then view and comment on.
5 – eventually, the unwashed masses get access to the post as well.
so, those pony posts were posted to the post queue a couple weeks ago. long before I lost my jorb.

and like MCS. it will help a lot. as of this post, there are 474 “likes”. I would like to have over a thousand by the end of the weekend. that would be swell!
